Our study showed that CYP4F2 gene rs1558139 polymorphism did not reveal any differences in the distribution of G/G, G/A, and A/A genotypes between groups (35.0% versus 45.0% versus 20.0% in patients with optic neuritis, 30.5% versus 47.0% versus 22.5% in control group, resp). Here, CYP4F2 is linked to optic neuritis.
