An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) screening of 34 serum samples from ovarian cancer patients using 89 serum specimens from healthy donors as controls detected IGF2BP2 autoantibody in 29.4% of ovarian cancer patient, significantly higher than the detection rate in the healthy donors (1.1%) [23]. This evidence concerns the gene IGF2BP2 and ovarian carcinoma.
