Our research also revealed that IL-6, TNF-α, and hs-CRP levels are significantly increased with hyperuricemia (IL-6: r = 0.308, P < 0.05; TNF-α: r = 0.365, P < 0.05; hs-CRP: r = 0.420, P < 0.01), and also have positive correlation with VAI (IL-6: r = 0.348, P < 0.05; TNF-α: r = 0.405, P < 0.05; hs-CRP: r = 0.496, P < 0.01). Here, TNF is linked to hyperuricemia.
