A previous study by our group has suggested that BC in Hispanic women of Mexican origin is usually diagnosed at a younger age, with more advanced tumor stage, higher tumor grades, ER‐negative tumors, and a higher prevalence of breast cancer susceptibility gene 1 & 2 (BRCA1 and BRCA2) mutations than in non‐Hispanic White people 11. This evidence concerns the gene BRCA1 and neoplasm.
