Actually, the replacement of some epithelial markers (like E‐cadherin) by mesenchymal markers (Snail, Slug, Twist1, Zeb1/2) during prostate cancer formation and metastasis has already been reported.21, 22, 23, 24 As an important process of cancer metastasis, EMT has more or less relationship with various signaling pathway, such as Wnt, TGF‐β, Notch, and Hippo signal pathway.25, 26, 27, 28 Therefore, we speculate that NDR1 may play a role in prostate cancer progression by affecting on EMT. This evidence concerns the gene STK38 and prostate cancer.
