Further than the PNPLA3 and the TM6SF2 SNPs, we therefore tested the rs3750861 KLF6, the rs13412852 LPIN1, and the rs4880 SOD2 SNPs, which have demonstrated associations with fibrosis, steatosis and fibrosis, and again fibrosis, respectively, in previous studies on NAFLD patients [8–12].
