MAPT and supranuclear palsy, progressive, 1: They performed first-in-human PET studies in patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), in comparison with a healthy group, revealing a different pattern of accumulation in AD patients, especially in the temporal lobes, and different patterns of distribution in PSP patients, demonstrating a high target specificity and high signal in regions of expected tau pathology.
