As expected, BRD7 could decrease the protein stability of HIF1α via ubiquitin-mediated proteasome pathway, and recovering the expression of HIF1α could reverse the expression of LDHA, and thus restoring the expression of LDHA could reverse the inhibition effect of BRD7 on glucose glycolysis and the tumor malignant phenotype, supporting that BRD7 inhibits the Warburg effect and tumor progression through facilitating degradation of HIF1α mediated by ubiquitin–proteasome system. This evidence concerns the gene HIF1A and neoplasm.
