Intriguingly, restoring the expression of LDHA in BRD7-overexpressed breast cancer cells apparently recovered the inhibitory roles of BRD7 in regulating cell proliferation, colony formation (Fig. 6a, b), and cell cycle progression from the G1 to S phase (Fig. 6c) compared with the BRD7-overexpressed MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells. This evidence concerns the gene BRD7 and breast carcinoma.
