We further analyzed the expression of SEPT9 and SEPT2 in normal brain tissues (n = 12); low-grade glioma tissue samples (grade 2, astrocytoma: n = 8); grade 3 glioma samples (anaplastic astrocytoma: n = 12), and grade 4, GBM (n = 12). This evidence concerns the gene SEPTIN9 and central nervous system cancer.
