The NUMB protein, when present, was almost exclusively found in the nucleus in CIN samples (32.65% of nuclear NUMB in CIN vs. 2.04% of cytoplasmic NUMB), whereas in the ICC samples, its localization was heterogeneous, with a significant increase of NUMB expression in the cytoplasm (6.32% of nuclear NUMB in ICC vs. 35.79% of cytoplasmic NUMB) (Table 3 and Figure 3B). This evidence concerns the gene NUMB and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
