Ndrg1-CreERT2;Fgfr1–4flox/flox mice showed significant hyperphosphatemia (11.69 ± 1.19 mg/dL [n = 14] vs. 7.35 ± 0.76 mg/dL [n = 20], P = 2.6 × 10−14) and hypercalcemia (9.22 ± 0.71 mg/dL [n = 14] vs. 8.65 ± 0.44 mg/dL [n = 20], P = 0.0067) compared with Fgfr1–4flox/flox control mice after tamoxifen treatment. The gene discussed is NDRG1; the disease is hyperphosphatemia.
