Our TREM2 minigenes may be useful for identifying such splicing regulators of TREM2. As TREM2 has been implicated in several diseases and conditions, including NHD, AD and frontotemporal dementia, the identification of TREM2 regulators may provide novel opportunities for therapeutic interventions in TREM2-associated diseases. The gene discussed is TREM2; the disease is frontotemporal dementia.
