Very recently, Pistore et al. indicated that DNMT3A-dependent DNA methylation is essential for the epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) in prostate cancer cells [21], which supports our finding that dysregulation of DNMT3A and miR-29b/c led to E-cadherin repression and promoted GC cell migration and invasion [22]. The gene discussed is DNMT3A; the disease is prostate cancer.
