Further analysis indicated that elevated FZD8 and WNT11 expression was more prevalent in patients with recurrent disease, as compared to disease-free patients (p = 0.049, Fisher’s exact test, two-sided) (Supplementary Fig. 8c), supporting the relevance of WNT-11-FZD8 signaling to prostate cancer progression.
