Normally, LMO2 and TAL1 independentlyregulate the transcription of their own target genes, but they cooperativelydisrupt the functioning of the E2A factor in T-ALL cells, which contributes tothe development of leukemia[63, 64].It has been shown that the transcriptionfactor FOXP3 can act as a tumor suppressor in T-cell leukemia.
