Reports on subjects with SNAP MCI [7–9, 14–17], as well subjects with PART [47] and age-related TDP-43 [48], indeed show some parallelism with the clinical features of our aMCI sample: advanced age, very mild cognitive symptoms, neurodegeneration without amyloidosis, and low risk of clinical neuropsychological decline. This evidence concerns the gene TARDBP and amyloidosis.
