NOD-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome, a multiprotein complex, contributes to the development of liver disorders, such as alcoholic steatohepatitis, viral fulminant hepatitis, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, through processing caspase-1 cleavage and IL-1β secretion (15–18). Here, NLRP3 is linked to liver disorder.
