Parallel to our secretome analysis, proteomics profiling of benzo(a)pyrene (BaP)-induced lung cancer was conducted for screening of potential biomarkers and three proteins, neuropilin-2 (NRP2), clusterin (CLU) and A-kinase anchor protein 12 (AKAP12) were proposed as potential biomarkers of BaP-induced lung cancer16. This evidence concerns the gene AKAP12 and lung cancer.
