To explore the underlying molecular mechanisms of RUNX1-mediated regulation of the ErbB2/HER2 signaling pathway, we first extracted the top one-third genes (6,000 genes) that are highly-expressed in the RUNX1 high-expressing gastric cancer patients in 5 independent previously-published microarray data sets (GSE62254, GSE29272, GSE35809, GSE34942 and GSE22377). This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and gastric cancer.
