In order to explore the molecular mechanism of ZFAS1 in regulating bladder cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, we detected the effect of ZFAS1 on the expression of KLF2, NKD2, and EMT-associated genes (ZEB1, ZEB2, E-Cadherin, and Vimentin), and found that reduced ZFAS1 markedly decreased ZEB1, ZEB2, and Vimentin expressions, and increased KLF2, NKD2, and E-Cadherin expressions. The gene discussed is ZEB2; the disease is urinary bladder cancer.
