Both univariate and multivariate analyses indicated significant correlation between high XPA expression and decreased hazards of death in the CRC cases without tumor deposits (HR = 0.40, 95% CI: 0.21–0.77, P = 0.006, adjusted HR = 0.44, 95% CI: 0.21–0.92, P = 0.028). This evidence concerns the gene XPA and colorectal carcinoma.
