In this study, we detected the expression of T1R2, T1R3, Gα-gustducin, PLCβ2, TRPM5, NLRP3, procaspase-1, and IL-1β in renal tissue of DN model mouse and renal innate cells (mouse GMCs and human proximal tubular cells (HK-2)) under high-glucose stress and then observed the changes of these players using lactisole-blocked STRs, aiming to elucidate the role of STRs in the activation of ROS-NLRP3 inflammasome signaling in the pathogenesis of DN. Here, IL1B is linked to liver dysplastic nodule.
