miR-107 regulates AD progress by directly targeting Beta-site amyloid precursor protein cleaving enzyme1 (BACE1), cofilin and even Dicer as previously reported, and it would induce cell cycle arrest in AD model (Wang et al., 2008; Yao et al., 2010; Li et al., 2011; Feng et al., 2012; Jiao et al., 2016).
