The Wnt/β‐catenin pathway plays a crucial role in haematopoietic differentiation,37 and aberrant activation Wnt/β‐catenin signalling has been linked to haematologic malignancies, including AML and ALL.26, 38, 39 Therefore, it can be speculated that the silencing of DKK3 gene expression leads to the activation of the Wnt/β‐catenin signalling pathway, which is involved in cancer development. This evidence concerns the gene DKK3 and acute myeloid leukemia.
