A number of transcription factors (e.g., nuclear factor of activated T cells 4 [NFATc4], nuclear factor kappa B [NF-κB], and mitogen-activated protein kinases [MAPKs, e.g., Akt and Erk1/2]) are involved in cardiac hypertrophy signaling [13–15].
