However, when haplotype-haplotype and haplotype-environment interactions were analyzed, we could find that the PVRL2 A-A-C-A-A and TOMM40 C-A-C carriers (adjusted OR = 5.47, 95% CI = 3.64–7.73, P < 0.001) and TOMM40 T-A-T carriers and BMI > 24 kg/m2 (adjusted OR = 1.08, 95% CI = 0.75–1.54, P < 0.001) increased dyslipidemia risk. This evidence concerns the gene NECTIN2 and metabolic syndrome.
