Among patients with osteosarcoma, increased CRP was correlated with shortened OS (HR = 1.52; 95% CI: 1.10–2.09; P = 0.01) (I2 = 17.8%; P = 0.30), and the same was true for patients with other kinds of bone cancer (HR = 1.87; 95% CI: 1.28–2.75; P = 0.02) (I2 = 76.0%; P = 0.04).
