Previous studies have revealed important clinical relevance of SUZ12 overexpression in human cancer.14, 17, 25 For example, elevated SUZ12 expression significantly associated with large tumour size, lymph node metastasis and advanced stages in non‐small cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer.17, 18 Having established overexpression pattern of SUZ12 in HNSCC, we further revealed that its up‐regulation significantly associated with cervical node metastasis, while the correlations between other clinicopathological parameters and SUZ12 expression did not reach statistical significance.
