We analyzed statistically the relationship of themethylation rates of WT1, NKX6-1 and DBC1 withpatient age and the staging of the International Federation of Gynecology andObstetrics (FIGO), in 48 cervical cancer tissues; there was no statisticallysignificant difference (Table 6). The gene discussed is NKX6-1; the disease is cervical carcinoma.
