Ourresults are consistent with previous findings from other regions and ethnic groups(Zhang et al., 2012).The methylation rate in the promoter region of NKX6-1 increasedfrom the normal cervical tissues to CIN and cervical cancer tissues, which isconsistent with other studies (Lai etal., 2008). The gene discussed is NKX6-1; the disease is cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia.
