Lymphomas had the highest percentage of patients expressing detectable levels of hTERT, followed by bladder and liver cancers, while prostate cancers had very few patients expressing detectable levels of hTERT. Tumor samples expressing detectable hTAPAS RNA ranged from 1% (prostate) to 20% (glioblastoma) (Figure S5B). The gene discussed is TERT-DT; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
