Further, previous reports suggest that BTG2 expression improved the radiosensitivity of NSCLC and breast cancer cells by affecting cell cycle distribution, enhancing radiation‐induced apoptosis and inhibiting DNA repair‐related protein expression (He et al., 2015; Hu et al., 2012), which suggests that BTG2 may be a novel target in radiotherapy for lung cancer.
