At the onset of hypertension, a combination of growth factors (e.g.insulin-like growth factor 1 – IGF1, basic fibroblast growth factor – FGF2,vascular endothelial growth factor A – VEGFA, somatotropin – GH1) andnuclear factor receptor kappa (NF-κB) signalling modulation was inferred(e.g. inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa-B kinase subunit beta and gamma –IKBKB and IKBKG, nuclear factor NF-kappa-B inhibitor kinase alpha –CHUK). This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and hypertensive disorder.
