JAK2 and rheumatoid arthritis: In October 2011, we developed an expanded access program with baricitinib, a selective JAK1 and JAK2 inhibitor (15) that is currently approved for the treatment of moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in adults (16) in over 40 countries including European countries, Japan, and and the United States, to treat patients with CANDLE, SAVI, and other presumed interferonopathies.
