SERPINB4 and asthma: They showed that SCCA1 levels were higher in the acute phase than in the recovery phase, both in patients with modified asthma predictive index (mAPI, 3.51 ± 2.34 ng/mL vs. 1.29 ± 0.66 ng/mL, n = 14, p = 0.002) and without mAPI (2.96 ± 1.67 ng/mL vs. 1.47 ± 0.85 ng/mL, n = 22, p = 0.001).
