In this report, we aim to demonstrate an anti-inflammatory effect of short insulin intensive therapy through comparing changes in MCP-1 expression on the monocyte surface, NF-κB expression in the monocyte, and serum MCP-1 level in newly-diagnosed T2DM patients pre-short-term insulin intensive treatment with those of post-treatment. Here, NFKB1 is linked to type 2 diabetes mellitus.
