AKT1 and colorectal cancer: Especially the NLRC3, Karki et al. (2016, 2017) had indicated that NLRC3 blocked activation of the PI3K-dependent kinase AKT following engagement of growth factor receptors or TLR, or inhibited expression of c-myc, FoxO3a and FoxO1, and suppressed the activation of the mTOR signaling pathway to protect against colorectal cancer.
