Flow cytometry analysis for expression of surface markers on both HD-DCs and MM-DCs showed mature phenotype with very high expression (>90%) of the MHC class I molecule HLA-ABC, the MHC class II molecule HLA-DR, the DC-specific molecule CD11c, costimulatory molecules CD86, CD80 and CD83, integrins and adhesion molecules like CD54 and CD58. The gene discussed is ITGAX; the disease is Miyoshi myopathy.
