The current study, however, did not demonstrate any statistically significant difference in plaque scores or gingivitis scores (bleeding on gentle probing the sulcus) between those who rinsed for thirty days with a solution containing sea salt, lysozyme enzyme, and xylitol with those who did not, in a group of dental students attending the College of Dentistry, Saskatoon, Canada.
