Bevacizumab is a humanized recombinant antibody that binds all isoforms of human VEGFA (including VEGF165) and was approved in 2004 by the FDA only for glioblastoma (GMB), metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and metastatic kidney cancer (mRCC). This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
