Among the proteins related to the integrin‐mediated cell adhesion pathway, proteins such as integrin receptors α1, β1, and β3 were strongly downregulated (relative abundance of proteins as ratio of 131/127 < 0.5) in the SDEs of patients with osteoporosis; the downstream of integrin‐linked protein kinase (ILK) and proto‐oncogene tyrosine‐protein kinase Src (SRC) were also downregulated. Here, ILK is linked to osteoporosis.
