The results showed that higher expression of DDX11-AS1 led to down-regulation of 15 genes (SRD5A1, CYP4F11, etc.), which have been proved to be down-regulated in HCC with high proliferative potential (p < 0.0001), suggesting that DDX11-AS1 might promote the proliferation of HCC by inhibiting the expressions of these 15 genes (Fig. 9C). This evidence concerns the gene DDX11 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
