It is worth mentioning that, in our TCGA gene expression data re-analysis, the highest correlation coefficient observed between FOXM1 and UBE2C gene expression was in low grade gliomas, and the above cited study [28] supports our hypothesis that the co-overexpression of both genes and the transcriptional regulation of UBE2C by FOXM1 may a general phenomenon in tumors. Here, UBE2C is linked to central nervous system cancer.
