Most recently, the glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) genes StGAPC1, StGAPC2, and StGAPC3 are demonstrated to regulate potato CIS by altering carbohydrate pools toward sucrose synthesis and cleavage rather than glycolysis (Liu et al., 2017). This evidence concerns the gene GAPDH and in situ carcinoma.
