To further demonstrate that TNFSF13B expression was important for the sensitivity to these chemotherapeutic agents, we performed a cytotoxicity assay in an LCL with relatively high TNFSF13B expression after knock-down (KD) of TNFSF13B. The same cytotoxicity assay was also performed with a human promyelocytic leukemia cell line, HL-60, a cell representative of promyelocytes which can differentiate to myelocytes, the major components of white blood cells. This evidence concerns the gene TNFSF13B and acute promyelocytic leukemia.
