For patients who had low-risk prostate cancer (Gleason score ≤6, Stage 1, and serum PSA <10 ng/mL), the odds ratio for undergoing active treatment for patients in the RadOnc group was significantly higher (adjusted OR 8.40, 95% CI 6.65–10.62), compared to those in the Uro group. This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and Familial prostate cancer.
