Except EIF3E and EIF3F found down-regulated and conferred tumor suppressive activity in cancers [43, 44], majority of EIF3 members including EIF3A [45], EIF3B [46], EIF3C [47], EIF3D [48], EIF3H [49], EIF3I [50, 51] and EIF3M [52] were up-regulated and played important roles in tumor progression of multiple cancer types.
