Since members of S100 family proteins are known to play critical roles in cancer progression and angiogenesis [39–41] and since recent quantitative proteomics of exosomes identified S100A11 is a carcinoma-related protein located in the HCC exosomes [42], we speculated that expression of S100A11 might participate in EIF3C-mediated exosomes to promote HCC angiogenesis and tumorigenesis. Here, EIF3C is linked to cancer.
