The epigenetic mode of BIM repression by EBNA3A and EBNA3C may be important for Burkitt’s lymphoma development, since it can create an environment permissive for MYC overexpression, even after EBNA3A and EBNA3C expression is shut down, as the virus progresses through different stages of latency [9,66,67].
