Previous studies have shown that levels of IP-10 induced by PPD-B or CE were significantly higher than those in IFN-γ in patients with TB and in M. tuberculosis-infected monkeys (26), whereas, in our study, levels of antigen-induced IP-10 were lower than those of IFN-γ in M. bovis-infected cattle.
