Recently, the VDR gene polymorphisms [11–49] including FokI [12, 13, 15, 18, 19, 21–26, 29–32, 35–39, 41–43, 45–47, 49], BsmI [11–13, 15–18, 20, 23, 26, 27, 29, 30, 32, 33, 36, 37, 40–42, 44, 48, 49], ApaI [11–13, 15, 16, 18, 23, 27, 28, 30, 36, 41], TaqI [12–15, 17, 18, 20–24, 27, 28, 31, 36, 38, 41, 49] and Cdx2 [21, 30, 31, 36] have been assessed in genetic associations studies of CRC, but the results from these studies are still inconsistent. This evidence concerns the gene CDX2 and colorectal carcinoma.
