In this study, the level of Ang-2 expression in lung cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in their paracancerous tissue (Figure 1), and closely positive correlated with tumor size, TNM staging, poor differentiation, and 5-year survival rate (Figure 2), but there was no obvious relationship with patients’ age and lymph node metastasis (Tables 1&2), indicated that high Ang-2 expression could be an independent predictor related to distant metastasis for patients’ poor prognosis [28, 29].
